The Girls Guide to NFL Football
Hey girlies! So sorry we haven't been active in a while! We've had some other things to deal with, but we're back now! Hopefully the new iPhone app will make it easier to publish sets! Without further ado, here's the guide:

So I don't know if there's anybody out there that actually loves football (like me), but you probably have dads/friends/boyfriends/brothers that watch it and it's probably good in the long run to understand it at least. So this guide is here to explain football very basically so you can watch it and not be completely confused. (And to be honest, if you like football, you have a lot in common with some guys and you'll make a lot of new guy friends!)

THE TEAMS;

-basically there are 32 teams total in the NFL. There are two different conferences, the AFC and the NFC. Each conference has 16 teams. Each conference is split into 4 divisions: north, south, east, and west with 4 teams in each.

- The teams in the same division play each other team in the division twice per season.

-the rest of a team's schedule is determined by NFL beforehand and it seems pretty random to everyone but the people who decide it.

-At the end of all the games, the team with the highest number of wins in each division goes to the playoffs. The teams in the AFC and NFC play amongst themselves until there is only one final team from each, and those teams okay each other in the Super Bowl.

GAMES;;

- Each team plays 16 games per season over 17 weeks. One week is their break, called a Bye Week

-Most teams play on Sundays at 1pm, 4:30pm, and one game at 8:20pm.

-There is one other game on Monday nights and one on Thursday nights.

PLAYING THE GAME;;

-The game is split into 4 quarters, each 15 minutes long.

-When a team gets the ball, they have 4 downs (basically, tries) to move the ball 10 yards down the field. They can either throw the ball or run with it. If they succeed and get at least 10 yards, this is called a First Down and they get another four tries to move the ball 10 yards again and this process repeats. If they don't get the 10 yards in 3 downs, they usually use their 4th down to punt the ball across the field to the other team, and now the other team has the ball. (Or they can kick a field goal, more on that later)

- Basically, the object of the game is to get the ball all the way down the field (100 yards) into the other teams endzone, which is called a touchdown. This is worth 6 points.

-if they get a touchdown, they can kick an extra point into the uprights, worth 1 point. (So they end up with 7 points total) and then they punt the ball to the other team.

-if they don't get the 10 yards needed for a first down and they're pretty close to the goal posts, they can use their 4th down to kick a field goal into the upright goal posts, worth 3 points, and then they get to punt the ball to the other team.

- it keeps going like this until halftime where gameplay stops. At the start of the 3rd quarter after halftime, the team that did not start with the ball in the 1st quarter gets to start with it.

-there are essentially 3 different groups per team: Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. The offense is the group that plays with the ball. The defense defends against the other team that has the ball. And special teams is used to kick field goals and punt the ball to the other team.

Okay so hopefully this was helpful to anybody trying to learn anything about football. I promise, if you know anything about it, you can impress guys and they will instantly be your friends. Comment if you have any questions and requests are always open! Have a lovely day!

Love,
The Girls Guide Girls <333

The Girls Guide to Braces

One year ago - 756 views
The Girls Guide to Braces
Hey girls :) Sorry for the lack of guides recently! Today was my last day of school, so things should be less busy from now on :)

Ok, so a tonnnn of people have braces. I've had mine for almost 3 years (there were some teeth that had to be pulled in the beginning, etc. that slowed down the process...), but I'm hopefully going to get them off at the end of July! Anyways, since I've had them for so long, I know practically everything about having braces, so here goes:

GETTING THEM ON;;

~Right before your appointment, take a couple asprin (or whatever pain medication you take), because it's gonna hurt, not gonna lie. You probably won't feel the pain immediately, but by dinner time, you won't be able to eat anything, so take your pain meds to stop the pain a bit.

~Don't plan anything big for the next couple days. Trust me, your teeth will be in so much pain that you won't be able to eat basically anything and you won't really feel like talking. Plus, I'm sure your not exactly eager to show them off to anyone just yet. So your best bet is to stay at home where you can drink unlimited amounts of smoothies and eat yogurt, jello, ice cream, and other soft things.

~I know it's painful now, and they'll definitely be sore for about the whole first week. And it's gonna take a while to get used to them. But after about a month of having them on, you won't even notice that they're there. And they won't really be sore again until after you get them tightened the first few times.

HAVING BRACES;;

~ The most important thing to do, is to keep brushing and flossing! I know it's like ridiculously hard to floss with braces, but it'll be worth it in the long run. I almost got a cavity between my teeth because I wasn't flossing enough with my braces. Way more food gets stuck in your teeth when you have braces, so it's really important to brush after every meal, if possible (plus, brushing will help with the inevitable bad breath that comes with all that extra food stuck up in there...)

~Wear your rubber bands!!!!! I cannot stress this enough!! You can get the braces off like months earlier if you keep up with wearing the rubber bands. Always follow your orthodontist's instructions about how/where to wear them, etc. and wear them all the time. I know it's really hard to remember to wear them sometimes (plus, they're really disgusting to have to keep taking in and out when you eat) and they're really awkward to laugh or talk to people, but if you wear them often enough, you won't have to wear them for almost 3 years like I had to.

~If anything breaks, like a bracket or the wire, you should call for an appointment immediately. If something gets broken, it could really damage your teeth (or poke your gums!) and it could make a major setback in getting your braces off sooner.

~Don't worry about having them, because probably a ton of other people that you know have them too. And you'll get them off soon enough! And when you're like 30, you probably won't even remember having braces that much! It's not a big deal, so don't worry. The sacrifice is worth having perfect teeth!

AFTER BRACES;;

~ Once you get your braces on, you may think you're done forever, but you're wrong! You've still got to wear your retainer. If you don't wear it, you'll just let your teeth go back to where they were before, and that will just be a waste of all the time and money you spent on braces. And you won't have perfect teeth any more. So just wear it! It's really hard to see, so it's not a problem!

~Whitening your teeth;; I'll look more into this once I actually get my braces off, but basically most people choose to whiten their teeth because it's common to have some discoloration on your teeth from the brackets, and people want their straight teeth to be white. So just talk to your parents about what methods they're comfortable with. Some people use bleach trays which are effective but some what risky. Other get their teeth professionally whitened with lasers and fancy things like that. But I think the best option is those whitening strips you can get at any drugstore or beauty store. They're really easy to use and have great results if you stick with it.

Yeah, and that's about it :) I think this is basically everything you need to know about braces! If you have any other questions, feel free to comment or PM me!

The Girls Guide to Traveling
Helloooo girliess! This guide was requested! If you have a request, please comment it here: http://www.polyvore.com/any_requests/set?id=49360050 . Without further ado, here's your guide to traveling! PS- I've only been on an airplane once and it was like 7 years ago, so I won't be able to give as much advice on that subject :)

TRAVELING ON AN AIRPLANE;;

~You'll need a photo ID for the airport, and if you're traveling internationally, you'll need a passport. I'm sure your parents take care of all of that or they know how to get them, etc.

~You're luggage: Most airlines charge fees for luggage; so just make sure you're not bringing 10 suitcases because that'll end up being like $300. Also, make sure your name, address, and phone number are attached to the luggage somewhere. Usually on the outside is good, unless you want people going through your stuff to try to find an address. Just in case your suitcase does get lost though, make sure you don't put anything valuable or irreplaceable in it.

~This brings me to your carry on: Make sure you know the size/weight limit of your carry on. Pack a set of clothes in it ( stuff that can be worn anywhere and won't take up too much space, just in case your luggage is lost). You can't bring any liquids that are over like 3oz or something like that; just check the policy for your airline.

~Arrive at the airport early so you won't have to rush around. Especially if this is your first time flying, you don't want to be stressed. Although, you'll probably be with your parents, and they know what to do.

~What to wear: I would suggest wearing a sweater because those airplanes always get cold! But don't wear anything too big or bulky, because that's classified as kind of suspicious in a high security airport. And maybe some sweats (if you don't mind wearing them in public) or some comfy skinny jeans. Then, wear some comfy shoes that you can easily slip on/off for security. Wear socks if you don't want to be one of 'those' people walking barefoot through security.

~Don't bring anything metal. Not even a nail file. Seriously. Just leave it at home. If you're caught in security with anything like that, you'll probably be arrested or something that is really unpleasant.

~If your hands are really prone to being dry, like mine, slather on a ton of ultra-strong lotion before you get to the airport and leave the bottle in your car or at home or something unless you want to have it confiscated for being over the 3oz weight limit.

~ If you find that you're scared of being on the plane, just relax. Bring your favorite book to read or listen to music to calm you down. (if that stuff is even allowed...I'm really not sure...)

WHAT TO PACK;;

~ It really depends on where you're going. You should what the weather will be like where you're going and what activities you'll be doing (going to the beach, fancy dinners, shopping, etc.)

~Make a check off list of everything you'll need. Then bring it with you on your trip and check everything off as you're re-packing to make sure you haven't left anything in the hotel. (One time, I forgot all 3 of my bathing suits in the shower where I hung them to dry, and the hotel had to ship them back to my house... It really sucked.)

~Bring your phone/laptop chargers. Those things are annoying to have to replace.

~Bring extra pairs of shoes. For some reason, this is what I always forget.

~Hairbrush! (another thing that I usually forget)

~If you're planning on shopping during your trip (like in NYC), leave extra room in your suitcase!

~Some things are easier to buy once you get there than have to carry them through the airport. Like beauty products especially. Things like shampoo, deodorant, etc. are just easier to buy at your destination because chances are, you'll have a hard time meeting the 3oz requirements with those products.

Ok, and that's all the tips I can think of! If you have any more questions or anything to add, feel free to comment :)

Have a lovely day!

The Girls Guide to Summer Homework

The Girls Guide to Summer Homework
Hey girls! Is anybody out of school yet? If you are, I'm so jealous. I don't get out until next Wednesday. Ugh. So anyways, you guys probably all have summer homework, and your teachers have probably told you about it already. Here are some tips to help you out with that:

FIRST WEEK OF SUMMER;;

~Get all the supplies you need. Get ALL the books you'll need either from amazon.com, or the bookstore, or an older friend/sibling. If you need poster board or anything get it during the first week. You'll be glad you got it ahead of time.

~Get started! I know, I know. You just got out of school and you want some time to relax. But trust me, it'll be much easier to do homework when you're still in that school-grind. You don't have to finish everything, but at least just start (do more than write your name on the paper)

~Make sure you know what you have to do. If you are unclear about anything for your summer assignment, email your teacher during the first week of summer if possible. Most times, teachers don't check their emails often during summer, so your best bet is to talk to them early.

DURING SUMMER;;

~If you have to read: Last Summer I had to read two 300 page books and a 600 page book. It was torture. So I started with the longest book first to get it over with. I suggest doing this. It'll make the other books go by faster. Also, bring your book in the car/plane with you (as long as you don't get carsick!). All those trips to the beach and whatnot will be fun and productive if you read the whole way there and back.

~If you have to write: have to do an essay? Stop spending your whole summer worrying and just get it done in one day. You'll feel so much better that you got it done and you won't have to worry about it!

~ Try to designate at least 1-2 hours 3 days a week to work on your summer homework. You'll probably be done within a few weeks!

~Don't try to cram everything in during the last week of summer! You'll just end up not getting everything done, being miserable, and having a terrible experience being locked up in your room while all your friends are out enjoying the last days of summer. Trust me, been there, done that.

~Don't just rely on sparknotes to "read" your books. It is helpful to understand specific parts, but you won't be able to get a good perspective on the work as a whole, which is likely what you'll be tested on when you get back to school.

LAST WEEK OF SUMMER;;

~You really shouldn't have any more summer work to do during this time. But if you do, you need to finish it ASAP. Get it all done in one or two days so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

~Use this week to review all the books you read (this would be a good time to sparknote it and get the summary, just as a refresher) or go through all the notes you took on the book. Whatever will help you review, since you'll probably have a test on the book. If you had something like math problems, just make sure you know all the concepts and formulas you're supposed to know :)

~Pack your backpack with all the summer reading books and any packets or worksheets you had homework from. Put this stuff in at least a day in advance so you'll be prepared in case you forget anything.

Hope this is helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to ask or PM us!

Thanks girls!

The Girls Guide to Standardized Tests

The Girls Guide to Standardized Tests
Hey girls, sorry there haven't been any guides in a while!

So a lot of people are probably taking final exams and things like that, or maybe you're taking something like the SAT. So here's the guide for you!

BEFORE THE TEST;;

~Study. Obviously. If you know the material, you're good to go (mostly.) Make sure you try to study at least 3 weeks in advance, maybe even earlier. Then, go over it every single day for at least an hour and you'll know it really well!

~Get a good night's sleep the night before. That means at LEAST 8 hours, but more is better. Go to bed earlier than you usually do because you'll probably be up half the night worrying anyways, if you're anything like me :)

~Eat a good breakfast the morning of the test. That means no fruit loops or poptarts. No, you need to eat a real good-for-you breakfast. Some suggestions are eggs, bacon, toast and peanut butter, fruit (especially bananas), whole grain cereals (such as whole grain cheerios), oatmeal, etc. In other words, if the sugar content is bigger than 10g, you probably shouldn't have it. Oh, and make sure to drink lots of water! Yeah, milk or juice is good, but you have to have water to stay hydrated. If possible, bring a water bottle to drink during the test.

~Make sure you're on time to your test. If it starts at 9, aim to be at the testing site around 8:30. This will account for any traffic, getting lost, delays, etc. Trust me, being late would just stress you out so much more.

~You're teacher might tell you not to study at all the day before the exam, because that's what all my teachers tell us. But to be honest, I'm a huge fan of last minute cramming. It might stress you out, but isn't a little stress always good? I mean seriously though, if you read over something 5 minutes before you take the exam, you're going to remember it. Last minute studying saved my life on my psychology exam, like for reals.

~Bring all the supplies you need: pens, pencils, calculator, scratch paper, water bottle, watch, ID, etc. so you're prepared!

DURING THE EXAM;;

~Focus!!! Don't start staring at the back of that girl's head, or the clock, or the ant on the floor. Seriously. You have to concentrate on the test!

~Keep track of your time! If you only have 40 minutes to do 30 multiple choice questions, you should be doing about 3 questions every 5 minutes, etc. Just keep track of how much time you have to do things.

~Don't cheat, or even do anything that can be called out as cheating. Like if you need another pencil, don't ask the person next to you. Raise your hand and ask the teacher. It's pretty self-explanatory.

~Do all the sections on the test. Even if you know you aren't prepared, just try your best. BS your way through all the essays. Trust me, having a bad score is better than having a 0.

~If you feel like you're sinking during the test, keep fighting! You'll be over it in about an hour or so!

AFTER THE TEST;;

~Now you're freeeee!!! So go celebrate or something and don't stress out about how you did!

And that's it! I hope this guide is helpful to any of you that will be taking any standardized tests soon!

The Girls Guide to School Dances
This was requested :) If you have a request, PM us or comment it here: http://www.polyvore.com/any_requests/set?id=49360050

Sooooo, I know school's almost out, but maybe you still have a spring dance or end of the year dance still coming up, so here's a guide for you!

WHAT TO WEAR:

~So I'm not exactly sure about what kind of dances you guys go to, but at my school, dances are always "semi-formal" which basically means wearing a cocktail dress and heels for us. But I know other schools have something different where you guys just wear something like jeans and a nice shirt. So just go by what you're supposed to dress. But I always say, it's better to be overdressed than underdressed!

~Now's your chance to get fun with makeup if you want! So try out something new or crazy! Just make sure it's still your style :)

~Heels: I always wear heels to dances (I love having an excuse to wear them lol) but, after hours of dancing, sometimes your feet start to hurt a lot. Now, don't think this is disgusting (even though it really is...) but everybody just takes off their shoes at all the dances I've been to. So it's up to you, but if your uncomfortable taking off your shoes, just wear flats :)

AT THE DANCE

~Be fun and social! Don't just sit in the corner and watch everyone else have fun! I spent all of my freshman year dances doing this because I was too embarrassed to dance like a fool. But once I got over that, I had way more fun with my friends and what not. So don't be afraid to have some fun!

~Dancing with boys: If you have a boyfriend, great! Go dance with him and your friends, etc. Don't just dance with only him, try to dance in a group to have more fun! If you're single, go out there and mingle! Who knows, maybe you'll find someone to crush on! But overall, just have fun and dance with everybody!

Sorry this is short, but if you have any more questions or anything to add, feel free to comment :)

The Girls Guide to Meeting the Family

One year ago - 351 views
The Girls Guide to Meeting the Family
Hey girlsss! This was requested as a guide to boyfriends meeting your family, but I decided to encompass you meeting your boyfriend's family as well. So let's start!

A big question people usually have is when to meet the parents. In my opinion, it should be after about 1-2 months of dating. By then you know that it's pretty serious. You and your boyfriend should meet each other's families at around the same time, not like 4 months apart.

MEETING YOUR BOYFRIEND'S FAMILY

~What to wear: it depends on what you're doing. If you're going to his house for dinner, you try to dress pretty nice. I think it's always better to be overdressed than underdressed. But the one rule of thumb is: keep it conservative. No cleavage, nothing short, I'd say no shoulders, definitely no back; and just remember, his grandma might be there. His grandma doesn't need to see your bra. Try to avoid wearing something like jeans and a t shirt (unless the situation calls for it specifically, like if you're going to a park or something) I think a cute sundress is always a better alternative, though.

~Be yourself! You don't want to act like a completely different person around his family.

~Don't be rude! Don't interrupt anyone or say mean things, etc.

~Some people will say 'Don't speak unless you're spoken to' but I disagree. I think that in order to come off as sociable and friendly, you have to talk "out of turn". Just make sure you don't drastically change the topic or speak over someone else. Try to give more than one word answers if the family asks you a question. The goal here is for them to get to know you!

~ALWAYS compliment the family. For example:
*"Dinner is wonderful, Mrs. Smith"
*"I love the color of the walls in this room!"
*"Your dress is lovely!"
But don't go overboard. You don't want to seem like you're sucking up.

~Be polite. Say please and thank you, eat with your mouth closed, don't talk with food in your mouth, etc. (of course these rules don't only apply to having a fancy schmancy dinner at his house)

BOYFRIEND MEETING YOUR FAMILY

~The best setting for a meet-the-family occasion is over a meal. Whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, desert, or whatever, something about eating just makes things more amiable.

~Plan the meal to be at a restaurant that isn't too casual, but isn't too fancy either. Aim for something in the middle, or have it at your house.

~Tell him what to wear. Honestly, most guys are a little lacking in the fashion department, so you'll probably be better off just telling him exactly what he should wear, down to the shoes. You know best what your parents will like, whether it be crisp and clean, or super casual.

~Make sure your parents don't get too crazy. If necessary, you might have to hide the baby pictures so your mom doesn't pull them out. If your dad starts getting really defensive of you (don't worry, that's his job!), just try to calm him down a little bit. You don't want to scare away your boyfriend!

Overall, for either situation, you just have to relax! Hopefully the parents will trust that you and him made good decisions with dating each other, and everything should go smoothly! And be yourself!

Hope this is helpful :)

The Girls Guide to First Dates

One year ago - 241 views
The Girls Guide to First Dates
Whether it's your first EVER date or just your first date with a certain guy, all first dates are extremely nerve-wracking. But they don't have to be! Read this guide for tips and advice :)

BEING ASKED OUT;;

~So you've had a crush on this guy for what seems like centuriesss, and he's finally noticed and decides to ask you out! After chemistry class he comes up to you and says, "Hey, do you wanna grab some dinner with me Friday night?" and what do you do? No, you don't start hyperventilating, and you don't run over and tell your BFF. No, you will say to him:
*"Sure, I'd love to!"
OR
*"Okay, that sounds good!"
OR
*"I'll let you know tonight" (if you have to ask your
parents first)
OR
*"Sorry, I already have plans Friday; how about Saturday?"

And most likely, he'll say something like, "Great! Let's meet at Joe's Chicken Hut at 7" (hopefully your first date will be somewhere better than Joe's Chicken Hut :) )

Or maybe he can drive and he's picking you up! Make sure you give him your address! But, just tell him you'll text it to him tonight, don't make him find a piece of paper and pen somewhere to write it down right there next in chemistry class.

After you've accepted, just say "Cool, I guess I'll see ya then" or something along those lines. Then give him a cute smile and walk away. Once he can no longer see you, you can jump for joy and start screaming and yelling to your besties.

~Don't text/IM him a million times before your date. Send him your address if necessary, and if you want, you can confirm that the date's still on a couple of hours before. But don't text him nonstep...most guys will probably find it annoying.

GETTING READY;;

~This is half the fun, right?

~Make sure you know what kind of activities you'll be doing (unless he's one of those guys that likes to surprise you). Example: don't wear your new 6 inch platform pumps if you're going to the fair.

~Unless your parents are the type that really don't care what you do, make sure you ask them beforehand. They might have their reasons for not wanting you to go out. And check with them again the day before just to make sure there aren't any last minute plan changes. Then, tell them before you leave so they know where you'll be. And if they give you a curfew, make sure you're home in plenty of time. You don't want to lose their trust on your first date with this guy. It may seem excessive, but it will show your parents that you can be responsible.

~What are you wearing? As I said before, it's a good idea to dress for what you'll be doing. But, something as simple as dinner or the movies can have a lot of versatile clothing options. Make sure you stick to your own style. Oh, and it's not a good time to test drive the new dress you got. Stick to your tried and true go-to clothes for this first date. Make sure you feel comfortable in what you're wearing. You don't want to be pulling and tugging on your clothes all night. If you want, show your outfit to your mom/besties for a wardrobe check and opinions

~Makeup: Honey, this isn't the circus, so don't pull out your clown makeup. Just keep it simple, wear what you would normally wear out with friends/family. The guy will be able to tell that you're wearing much more than normal and he'll think you're trying too hard to be someone you're not. Now, that doesn't mean you can't add a little extra smoke to your smoky eye, just don't go overboard.

~Bring a purse. Unless, of course, you're devoutly against wearing purses. But it will come in handy for items like you phone, makeup for touch-ups in the bathroom, feminine products (the WORST thing ever would be to unexpectedly get your period on a first date and be unprepared), and some money (just in case he doesn't pay...this isn't a given, ladies. More on this later, so keep reading!)

~Be on time. It's not okay to be "fashionably late" to a first date. Ever. If he's picking you up, make sure you're ready to go before the time he's supposed to come get you.

ON THE DATE;;

~Now's the time when you'll most likely start panicking. But DON'T. Just be yourself. Now, I know that this is really stupid advice. You may find yourself asking, 'How am I supposed to be myself when they guy I've liked forever is holding my hand?!?!'. And I get it. I've been there too. But seriously. If you just act like your normal self and try to compose yourself, things will go more smoothly. The reason he asked you out is because he likes who YOU are! So show him who he likes!

~Try to keep the conversation going. But silence isn't bad either. When he's silent, he's probably thinking about you! If you run out of things to talk about, just ask him about his sports team, or his dog, or something like that. It will spark more conversation between the two of you! What you shouldn't do is talk about yourself the whole time. Even though they'll never admit it, guys love talking about themselves and their interests just as much as girls do. Give him some time to tell you about himself :)

~If you find yourself getting overwhelmed, just make a quick getaway to the bathroom. Give yourself a second to collect your thoughts. Call your BFF if you need to! But don't leave him waiting forever!

~Stop worrying about embarrassing yourself. Chances are, he's worried about the same thing and won't even notice that you accidentally dropped spaghetti down your shirt. And don't worry, it's just the first date. If you continue going out with him, things will get more comfortable between you too!

~Who should pay? Well, good question. Some people will tell you that the guy should always pay. But I disagree. I think it's up to you guys. Some girls are true feminists and hate letting the man always take care of them, and in that case may want to pay for themselves. Here's my compromise. Let him pay for dinner (only is he offers, or takes out his wallet, of course! If not, sorry sister, looks like you're paying for your own meal.) and you can pay for dessert, or leave the tip, or get snacks at the movies. This way it'll just feel like you're not completely letting him do everything :)

~What to do if things aren't going well. It sucks when this happens, but sometimes a guy you thought was really great turns out to not be. If you've seen The Hills, picture going out with a Spencer. If he's rude to the waiter or even to you; if he starts checking out other girls; or if he is just plain weird, you should immediately know that he's not the right guy. But, this shouldn't really happen to you, since you've been crushing on him at school anyways :) But if it does, you've either got to stick it out for the night (especially if he drove you), or you can fake a family emergency and make your escape. Now, I'm not really suggesting the second option, that's only for extreme situations. You can just try to hurry him along and try to shorten the date, by saying something like your mom wanted you home early.

~Ok, back to happy things :) A lot of girls are always scared of looking like a pig on dinner dates. Don't worry about it, dear. I've said it already, but he likes YOU. So just be YOU. And anyways, it's not really common knowledge, but most guys aren't really into the super girly girls who only eat salads and flavored water. So trust me, get that triple bacon steak burger with fries if you want it.

~Kissing: My policy is no kissing on a first date. For me, I just think it's too soon. You may have your own policy, but just make sure you stick to it. If he does try to kiss you and you're not ready for it just yet, gently turn your head away. Most likely, he'll back off and respect your boundaries. And don't think that if you don't immediately kiss him right off the bat, that you two will never get to that stage. Don't worry. Once you two become closer, he'll try again, and hopefully get the timing right :)

AT THE END OF THE DATE;;

~Tell him you had a great time with him (only if you actually did...) and that you'd love to do it again sometime.

~Hopefully, he'll call you or ask you on another date soon!

~Now you can call your BFF and tell her how awesome everything went, and write it in your diaryyy if you want!
